JISO Iluminación participates in the Feria Hábitat Valencia trade fair and provides lighting for Hotel Hábitat

JISO is part of the project being carried out by Feria Hábitat Valencia and the architect Héctor Ruiz-Velázquez in the installation entitled ‘Hotel Hábitat València’ JISO Iluminación is once again participating in Feria Hábitat, which will be held from September 30 to October 3 at the Valencia exhibition centre. This year, we are active partners on an innovative project being developed by Feria Hábitat Valencia and the internationally renowned architect Héctor Ruiz-Velázquez: the ‘Hotel Hábitat València’ installation. This space will consist of rooms designed using exhibitors’ products, a large lobby and reception, a library, a spa and swimming pool area, a bar and a conference facility; most of these spaces will feature lighting provided by our interior or exterior technical light fixtures. The installation will be supported by the Spanish hoteliers’ association and will be located within Feria Valencia, at Pavilion 3.
During the fair, we will present our latest innovations in lighting, with a special focus on the control and dimming features of the light fixtures on display at our stand, located on Level 3, Pav 2 E23. In the project developed by Hábitat Valencia and the architect Héctor Ruiz-Velázquez, JISO Iluminación’s technical light fixtures will be used to light the lobby, reception, corridors, and interior and exterior spaces. Following the recommendations and design brief of our Technical Promotion Manager, Javier Navarro, the project managers have selected the high-quality aesthetic and energy-saving technical light fixtures from our TOP catalogue. In addition, we will provide all the linear lighting for the different areas in the form of LED strips and heat sink from our Linear Systems family.
We are also involved in the space that special guest Sigfrido Serra will create within Hotel Hábitat. The Valencian interior designer has designed a unique hotel room that captures the essence of a Valencian sunrise. Inspired by light and materiality, key elements in his design philosophy, Serra has created a space where the sensorial experience is everything. The room, measuring 18 square metres, is characterised by a minimalist and immersive design, where every detail has been carefully conceived to emphasise serenity and comfort. To this end, our colleague, Javier Navarro, head of the Technical Promotion Department and Lighting Designer, has worked alongside Sigfrido, providing advice and designing all the technical lighting. Light fixtures from our Magnetic collection and RGB LED strips were selected for the room, achieving the interior designer’s goal of a subtle lighting in orange and blue tones that evokes the colours of the sunrise, and creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. This play of light not only accentuates the importance of natural light in the space, but also highlights the soft changes Valencia, a city known for its Mediterranean light, undergoes during the dayWe are proud to be part of this initiative where visitors can experience and observe the operation of our light fixtures in real installations”, said Rafa Giménez, our Europe South department manager.
